Various raw materials → batching workshop → weighing → mixing → melting workshop → charging machine → glass kiln melting → feeding channel (machine) → forming equipment → annealing → inspection, packaging → delivery.

General glass bottle factory main production, auxiliary workshops are: batching workshop, melting workshop (including kiln), broken glass processing workshop, machine repair workshop, raw material storage, packaging warehouses, etc., supporting public works facilities are gas station (heavy oil storage, gas regulator station), air pressure station, substation room, water pump room, sewage treatment station, weighbridge and living service facilities of the dormitory building, office building, canteen, bathroom and other monomer composition.

The process: the required matching materials prepared in the batching workshop are transported to the kiln head bin in the melting workshop by the conveying equipment, then added to the glass kiln by the charging machine, and melted into glass liquor at a high temperature of about 1450℃. Then the products are sent to the annealing furnace for stress removal through bottle feeding and bottle pushing machines, and the qualified products are packed and stored in the factory after the inspection of the quality of the products.

  1. Batching workshop: the workshop generally has various built-in silos, lifting equipment, weighing equipment and mixing equipment. It is mainly used for weighing and mixing various minerals and chemical raw materials to make the matching materials that meet the requirements. The main daily-use raw materials for the production are silica sand, limestone, dolomite, feldspar, soda ash, and crushed glass and other seven or eight kinds of minerals and chemical raw materials.
  2. Melting workshop: The workshop is the main production workshop of the glass factory, generally built-in glass kiln, feeder (machine), molding equipment (bottle-making machine), annealing furnace, inspection and packaging equipment. At present, the workshop generally adopts a two-layer (partial three-layer) layout form, molding equipment (bottle-making machine), annealing furnace, inspection and packaging equipment placed on the second floor, inspection and packaging using automation.

The process flow of glass bottles

The glass bottle production process mainly includes:

  1. Raw material pre-processing. The lumpy raw materials (quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, feldspar, etc.) are crushed so that the wet raw materials are dried and the iron-containing raw materials are de-ironed to ensure the quality of glass.
  2. Feeding material preparation.
  3. Melting. Glass with materials in the pool kiln or pool furnace for high temperature (1550 ~ 1600 degrees) heating, so that the formation of uniform, bubble-free, and meet the requirements of forming liquid glass.
  4. Molding. The liquid glass into the mold into the required shape of glass products, such as flat panels, a variety of vessels, etc.
  5. Heat treatment. Through annealing, quenching and other processes to eliminate or produce the internal stress, phasing or crystallization of the glass, as well as change the structural state of the glass.
